FM Muttaqi stresses the importance of infrastructure for balanced development during Badghis visit

BADGHIS: Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister, has emphasized the importance of strengthening infrastructure projects for balanced national development during a visit to Badghis province.
According to a statement from the governor’s press office, he made the remarks during a meeting with provincial officials, where he held talks about development projects, economic opportunities, and efforts to boost infrastructure.
Officials highlighted the beginning of asphalt paving work on the third section of the Qaisar-Laman Ring Road, describing it as a vital step for economic growth and the expansion of trade activities.
Muttaqi said completing the remaining sections of the ring road would enhance regional connectivity and facilitate broader economic integration across Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Mullah Mohammad Hanif Hamza, governor of Badghis, noted that this route represents one of the remaining parts of the country’s ring road, with work already underway on key segments.
The project is part of broader efforts to improve national infrastructure and connectivity.
