KABUL: The leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in its message on the arrival of Eid al-Adha, emphasized the importance of unity, justice, and safeguarding the Islamic system.
Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, released the message, saying Afghans are living in security and peace under the Islamic system and that the religious rights of all citizens are being protected.
The message called on officials of the Islamic Emirate to pay greater attention to public service, security, public welfare, and the implementation of Islamic rulings, while also preventing injustice.
The leadership also urged religious scholars, officials of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and wealthy Afghans to focus on public reform, religious awareness, and support for orphans, widows, people with disabilities, the poor, and returning refugees.
The statement further stressed unity within the Islamic world, protection of the Islamic system, and prayers for Muslims worldwide.
