KABUL: Mohammad Saeed Al-Ayyash, Director-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Office in Afghanistan, met with Ataur Rahman Durrani, the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) representative for Afghanistan, on Monday here in Kabul.
According to a statement issued by the OIC, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest, ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination, and support for humanitarian and development programs aimed at benefiting the people of Afghanistan.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to address Afghanistan’s humanitarian, social, and economic challenges.
The OIC and the Islamic Development Bank also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining cooperation and coordination in implementing humanitarian and development initiatives designed to support the Afghan people and help alleviate the country’s ongoing challenges.
