KABUL: Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin has said Afghanistan needs peace, stability and economic opportunities.
Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, Muhriddin stressed that Tajikistan would continue supporting the Afghan people and promoting constructive regional cooperation to help achieve a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.
He added that the security of the region is directly linked to Afghanistan.
His remarks came a day after Kazakhstan also told the UN General Assembly that regional security is inseparable from Afghanistan’s stability.
