SAN ANTONIO: U.S. President Donald Trump said the war with Iran will end “very soon” and that the United States will also withdraw from the conflict soon, speaking at a Republican campaign rally in San Antonio, Texas.
Trump described Iran as a “defeated country” but said it still retained some capabilities. He also claimed that more oil had been transported through the Strait of Hormuz over the past three nights than at any other time.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials have said the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until Tehran’s demands are met.
