KABUL: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, in a meeting on Thursday, with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan, Faisal Bin Talaq Al Baqmi, said that the Islamic Emirate is willing to expand relations with Riyadh.
In the meeting, bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia were discussed.
The representative of Saudi Arabia for Afghanistan mentioned the historical and deep relations between the two countries and assured the continuing of humanitarian aid to Afghans.
He also praised the Afghan government’s actions against drugs and security.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs informed the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia about the developments in the political, economic, and security fields.
Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi said: It seems that the interest in developing international relations with the IEA is increasing.
