KUALA LUMPUR: Naqibullah Ahmadi, acting head of the Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Malaysia, met with Datuk Sayed Qamaruzzaman, director-general of the Islamic Religious Council of the Federal Territory of Malaysia, the Afghan embassy said.
The meeting focused on Malaysia’s experience in the areas of zakat and waqf, sharing that experience with Afghanistan, and providing training for officials of relevant Afghan institutions.
According to the Afghan embassy, the two sides also emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between Afghanistan and Malaysia.
