KABUL: The Acting Minister of Water and Energy Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour leading a delegation left the country today for China, spokesperson of the ministry Qari Matiullah Abid, said in a videotape.
According to Qari Abid, the acting minister will participate in an energy conference, which will be participated by the delegations of dozens of countries in China.
Afghanistan, located in the heart of Asia, is rich in natural resources, and reaching self-sufficiency in energy production through the utilization of these resources and effective water management is a priority for the Islamic Emirate.
