KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, during a ceremony held today, laid the foundation stone of the standard passenger terminal at Kabul International Airport, his office said in a statement.
The ceremony was attended by the acting Ministers of Transport and Civil Aviation, Economy, and some other officials.
According to the statement, the standard passenger terminal at the Kabul International Airport is set to be constructed for 290 million Afghani and will be completed within the next 18 months.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has planned more than 40 projects worth 3.7 billion Afghani for the year 1403 (solar calendar).
