KABUL: The Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Mawlavi Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani, in a ceremony held today in Kabul to commemorate 8 Saur, the 32nd anniversary of the Mujahidin victory over the communist regime in Afghanistan said that the enemies of the Afghan Jihad are still attempting to spread discord among the people in the country.
This historic event was celebrated in Kabul with the participation of the Islamic Emirate high-ranking officials.
Meanwhile, Shaikh Noor Mohammad Saqib, the Acting Minister of Hajj and Islamic Affairs, says that after the victory of the Mujahidin over the communist regime, the values of jihad were not preserved in the country.
He added that the Islamic Emirate must protect the values of jihad in accordance to the country’s national interests.
The 8th of Saur is annually celebrated as an honorable event in the country.
