KABUL: Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of Iran, has strongly condemned the reported bombing of Sharif University of Technology, warning that “the attackers will see our power.”
In a post on X on Monday, Araghchi shared images of the damaged university and said the strike was part of continued attacks by what he described as “U.S.–Israeli aggressors” targeting academic institutions.
Citing a saying attributed to the Prophet of Islam, he wrote that even if knowledge were in distant stars, Iranians would have the ability to achieve it.
Sharif University, which is also known as MIT University, is one of Iran’s most prominent academic centers.
The reported strike has also drawn criticism from some U.S. lawmakers, adding to growing international concern over attacks on civilian and educational infrastructure.
