Iranian delegation arrives in Islamabad for talks with U.S.

KABUL: An Iranian government delegation has arrived in Islamabad for talks with the United States, according to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.
The ministry confirmed the arrival in a video shared on Friday night, showing senior Pakistani officials, including Asim Munir, Ishaq Dar, and Mohsin Naqvi, welcoming the Iranian delegation at the airport.
Iranian state media Tasnim News Agency reported that the delegation consists of around 70 members, including 26 experts from technical committees covering economic, security, and political issues.
Footage also showed Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf and Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi disembarking upon arrival.
The U.S.–Iran talks aimed at ending the conflict and securing a lasting ceasefire are scheduled to take place on Saturday under tight security in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has warned that U.S. warships are being armed and ready in case the talks fail, signaling the possibility of renewed and intensified strikes on Iran.
