KABUL: During his visit to China, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Chen Xiaodong, head of the country’s development cooperation agency.
According to Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, head of the ministry’s press and public relations, in the meeting, discussions focused on China’s developmental projects and other bilateral cooperation related to Afghanistan’s reconstruction.
Muttaqi emphasized the importance of close collaboration between Afghanistan and China in agriculture, energy, and long-term projects.
Chen Xiaodong pledged China’s commitment to cooperation with Afghanistan in health, energy, agriculture, and capacity building, expressing hope for the continuation of sustainable partnerships.
