Deadly shooting in a Church in U.S. leaves 4 dead, 8 injured

KABUL: A deadly shooting at a church in the U.S. has resulted in at least four fatalities and eight injuries, CNN reported today.
According to U.S. police, a gunman in a vehicle opened fire as he entered the “Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” located in the Grand Blanc area of Michigan.
The attack occurred just as a significant ceremony was taking place inside the church.
Police confirmed that the assailant set fire to the location after the shooting, resulting in a large blaze.
Security officials at the scene indicated that there may be additional casualties among those trapped in the burning church.
Investigations have revealed that the attacker, identified as 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford, was a resident of Burton, near the incident site, and was shot dead by police.
Reports indicate that deadly security incidents have recently surged across various states in the U.S., claiming many lives.
