Explosion at Pakistan’s Supreme Court leaves 12 injured

KABUL: As a result of an explosion inside Pakistan’s Supreme Court building, 12 individuals have been injured, with medical sources indicating that the condition of four of them is critical, the Dawn newspaper reported today.

There are conflicting reports regarding the nature of the explosion. Some sources in Islamabad have told independent media that it was a bomb explosion, while others, including Dawn and Geo News, reported that it was caused by a “gas balloon.”

Following the explosion, lawyers and staff evacuated the Supreme Court building promptly.

It is noteworthy that in recent days, attacks and explosions targeting various locations in Pakistan have increased, resulting in significant casualties in addition to financial losses.
