Leading a delegation Nooruddin Azizi leaves for India

KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said in a statement today that leading a high-level delegation Minister Nooruddin Azizi, has left the country for India at the official invitation of the Indian government.
The ministry outlined that the purpose of the delegation’s trip is to effectively utilize the capacities of the Chabahar Port, attract Indian investments along this route, and enhance bilateral trade between Kabul and New Delhi.
During this visit, the delegation is scheduled to participate in the international “Pragati Maidan” exhibition and hold discussions with Indian government officials, including the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Commerce, as well as with traders, investors, and members of the private sectors from both Afghanistan and India.
The statement further noted that the focus of these meetings will be on expanding economic cooperation, facilitating trade relations, creating common investment opportunities, and strengthening Afghanistan’s role in regional transit routes.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce emphasized that this trip is an important step in enhancing economic and trade relations between the two countries.
It is worth mentioning that India has made significant investments in the Chabahar Port to facilitate trade with Afghanistan.
