Three-year-old child rescued from kidnappers in Ghazni

KABUL: The Ghazni Provincial Police Command has confirmed that a three-year-old child, abducted from Kabul, has been rescued during an operation in the province.

The media office of the Ghazni Provincial Police Command said in a statement this morning, the child was kidnapped from the Mahmood Khan area of Kabul and subsequently transferred to Ghazni.

After receiving information, the Ghazni police monitored suspicious areas and initiated a rescue operation based on intelligence reports.

The operation was led by Mawlavi Mohammad Qasim Haqmal, the police chief of Ghazni, the kidnappers were arrested while they relocated the child’s hiding place from one location to another.

The statement stated that the child was rescued from the Pashtunabad area of the fourth security district in Ghazni city.

According to the police, the arrested individual, had also demanded an amount of money from the child’s family for the release of the child.

It is worth noting that combating criminal gangs and kidnappers is a priority for the country’s security and intelligence forces.
