KABUL: The General Department of Supervision over the Decrees and Orders of the Leader of the Islamic Emirate has announced that the esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin, has issued a new decree regarding the resolution of complaints from retirees.
The department, in a statement today, said the decree consists of eight articles directing the Supreme Court to establish a special court for retirees’ rights, which will address their cases in accordance with Sharia.
Furthermore, the second article of the decree requests all retirees to present their claims to the designated court to substantiate their retirement rights.
According to the decree, the special court will register complaints as formal lawsuits and will also seek responses from the Ministry of Finance, which will serve as the basis for addressing the claims.
The decree clearly and comprehensively outlines the court’s processes and how complaints will be handled.
This decree comes at a time when the Ministry of Finance is currently processing the payment of retirees’ pensions in an orderly manner.
