KABUL: At least two people were killed and five others injured in a shooting among a number of youth in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, according to U.S. media reports.
ABC News reported that the incident occurred at Linebach Park following what authorities described as a pre-arranged altercation.
Local police said the victims include a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, whose bodies were found at the park.
Among the injured are five individuals, including four teenage girls aged between 14 and 19, who sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Authorities have not yet determined the motive behind the shooting, which reportedly involved multiple firearms, and an investigation is underway.
The incident comes just days after another deadly shooting in Louisiana, where at least eight children aged 1 to 14 were killed.
