Iran’s FM Araghchi arrives in Moscow after regional tour

KABUL: Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of Iran, has arrived in Russia as part of the final leg of his regional diplomatic tour.
The visit comes after Araghchi traveled to Oman and Pakistan, and held phone discussions with the foreign ministers of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
According to Iran’s ambassador in Moscow, Araghchi is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday.
He is expected to brief Kremlin officials on recent regional developments, ceasefire efforts, and ongoing political processes.
Reports indicate the visit is important amid rising regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at coordinating positions and advancing potential ceasefire initiatives.
Araghchi is seeking to strengthen engagement with key regional and global players and promote a unified approach to resolving current conflicts.
