IEA calls martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh great loss and expresses deep condolences

KABUL: The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Zabihullah Mujahid in a statement today [Wednesday, July 31, 2024] called the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas, as a great loss and expressed his condolences.
“Martyr Ismail Haniyeh was a Muslim, conscious, and skillful, we express our deep condolences to his Mujahid family, the Hamas movement, and the mujahidin standing against the Zionist regime and we ask the Almighty Allah to grant paradise for Haniyeh and great patience for his family and the mujahidin of Hamas,” said the statement.
According to the statement, the Islamic Emirate considers the defense of Hamas for the Palestinian territories as a human and Islamic obligation and condemned in the possible strong terms the Zionist regime’s aggression, bombing, and genocide of Palestinians.
The Islamic Emirate once again called on the international community, especially the Islamic and Arab countries, to stop the atrocities of the occupying Israeli regime as soon as possible.
It is worth mentioning that Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political office, was martyred in an attack in the Iranian capital along with one of his bodyguards.
