KABUL: Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, the presidents of the United States and Russia, are scheduled to meet tomorrow (Tuesday), Reuters reported today.
While returning from Florida to Washington, Trump told reporters that discussions would focus on ending the war in Ukraine.
Trump stated, “We want to see if we can bring an end to that war. Maybe we can, maybe we can’t, but I think we have a very good chance.”
The location of the meeting between the U.S. and Russian leaders has not yet been disclosed.
This meeting comes at a time when the U.S. and Ukraine have reached an agreement on a 30-day ceasefire.
While Russia expressed its approval of the ceasefire, but it has attached certain conditions to its agreement.
