Iran issues warning after Trump’s 48-hour deadline on Hormuz

KABUL: Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has warned of severe retaliatory attacks following a 48-hour deadline issued by Donald Trump over reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
A spokesperson for the command said that if Iran’s energy infrastructure is targeted, Tehran would strike energy, information technology, and water facilities belonging to the United States and its allies across the region.
The official added that such action would be in line with previous warnings issued by Iran.
The warning comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States, as well as ongoing conflict involving Israel.
