LASHKARGAH: The Police Spokesman of Helmand, Mullah Izzatullah Haqqani, said that a drug-producing factory was destroyed on the outskirts of the province.
“The factory along with 2,250 kilograms of opium, 135 kilograms of salt, 20 liters of excise materials, 30 liters of acid, 25 kilograms of soda, and other related equipment has been destroyed by the security forces of the province,” he said.
The Islamic Emirate has consistently expressed a strong commitment to eradicating narcotics and has taken practical steps against drug production based on Sharia, humanitarian, economic, and social principles.
